Some of the CS540’s features are that it has up to a 7 hrs of talk time, a range of up to 350 ft, adaptive power system optimizes for range and talk time, advanced wideband audio using CAT-iq (Cordless Advanced Technology – Internet Quality) technology enables clearer conversations while still using the stable and secure voice dedicated DECT™ 6.0 technology which eliminates Wi-Fi interference and is 64 bit encrypted to make sure that your calls are secure.  Choose narrowband mode to preserve talk time or wideband mode for clearer conversations, the noise canceling microphone filters out background noise while the DSP technology (Digital Signal Processing) provides more natural voice sound.  Sound Guard technology protects against audio spikes, conference in up to three additional CS540 or Savi headsets for enhanced collaboration, new headsets can subscribe to a base by simply docking the headset and auto answer option lets you answer and end calls by removing or replacing the headset from the base.
