The date code is generally listed with your product’s model and part number, although this is not always the case. The chart below can assist with understanding the date code Example: If you see I7 on your product, the I is the month of September and the 7 is the year 2007.

The two-character Date Code is located on the same side of the headset as the ear tip. The Date Code is the last two characters in the line that starts with “IC,” and consists of one letter and one number (e.g., I7).
