Ear Cushions, Tips & Loops

If your corded or wireless headset is starting to show its wear, maybe it’s time to make it look and perform like new again. Replacing or updating accessories on your headset is easy and much less expensive than replacing the entire headset. Typically Plantronics ear cushions or ear loops cost less than $5 -10 and will give you all-day wearing comfort once again.

If you are considering Plantronics replacements, it’s imperative that you order the correct replacement part(s). Plantronics has been the leader in business-grade headsets for decades, and thus hundreds of different models of headsets exist, each with their corresponding accessories. At first glance, you may think all ear cushions are the same, but in reality, they are quite unique; some are round, some are oval, or they have different thicknesses. So if you try to fit the wrong cushions on your product, you may tear the fabric or become frustrated with it, because they constantly fall off.

Ear Cushions, Tips & Loops

You may want to consider replacing an old Plantronics ear cushion with an upgraded version to improve your headset comfort and experience. With leatherette ear cushions, users will find a more durable option that doesn’t cling to their hair. Leatherette styles slide over long hair, where foam tends to cling to hair. Leatherette options also make for a great choice if you share headsets or are susceptible to germs and need to sanitize your headset often. Foam options can be washed but will quickly start to deteriorate. With leatherette cushions, you can easily wipe them free of germs and leftover makeup and mascara.

If your headset doesn’t use a Plantronics ear cushion, you may still have items worth replacing. Most over-the-ear headsets use ear loops which come in different sizes. If you inherited your headset from the last employee that sat at your desk or cubicle, there's a good chance when they were handed a new headset years ago, they tried on all the ear loops before choosing the best fit, then discarded the others. The accessories left behind may not be the best fit for you, and by doing a quick refresh, your headset may fit and perform at a whole new level you’ve never experienced.
