How Do I Connect Two Separate Conversations Using My Savi W700 Series Headsets? The new Savi 700 series headsets are unique in that you have three ways to communicate (landline phone, computer and mobile phone), all through the base of your headset. But the instructions say you can join two of them (e.g. computer and phone) to your base and carry on a three-way conversation. What are the necessary steps to accomplish that? Well, let’s take a look at one scenario. You’re in Arizona and you’re talking to your brother in Oregon on the computer through Skype (or any other soft phone application) about the family reunion in Montana (the headset base computer icon (the one on the left) is solid green). Suddenly your sister from California is on the phone and you want to her to join you in the preparations. How do you do it? It’s as easy as 1-2-3. Tell your brother to hold on, sis is on the phone. On the headset base you press the button above the phone icon (the one on the right) to answer the call. This puts your computer call on hold (it will flash red) while you talk to your sister. Thanking your sister for calling, you ask if she can join the conversation you and your brother are having about the preparations for the family reunion. On the headset base you press both the phone (right icon) and computer (left icon) buttons until they are both solid green. Now all three of you are joined in a lively discussion about this year’s family reunion and how it’s going to be a great success. When you’re done, simply hang up by turning off your headset disconnecting both devices (in this case, the phone and computer). So, as you can see, many of the new innovative features on the Savi 700 series are really not that difficult to master.
