How to place/answer a call using a Plantronics Vista M22 Amplifier:

When placing a call:

  • You will need to take the handset (receiver) out of the cradle & set it to the side of your phone.
  • Engage the headset button on your M22. You should have a dial tone at this point, if not, you will need to select a line on your phone to get a dial tone.
  • After you are finished with your call, place the handset (receiver) back in the cradle on your phone, this will automatically end your call.
  • You may leave the headset button engaged at all times on your M22 if you like, this would remove one of the steps for placing a call. (This does run the batteries down faster) You may replace the 2 AA batteries with an AC power adapter (part # 45671-01) for $9.95.

When answering an incoming call:

  • Engage the headset button on your M22 (in not already engaged) you should have the incoming call at this point, if not, you will need to select the line on your phone that you want to answer.
  • After you are finished with your call, place the handset (receiver) back in the cradle on your phone, this will automatically end your call.
