Plantronics makes great accessories for mobile devices. I have owned four Plantronics Bluetooth devices and each was an excellent. This is the 2nd Voyager Legend I have owned. It was not until after I misplaced the pervious one that I found a really cool Plantronics app for my Android phone that helps locate lost devices.Rating
You can either send a signal to the device, if is is turned on, that will allow you to hear a loud tone and locate it, if you are in the area, or will give you the approximate GPS location of the last time it was paired to the phone.
The battery life if long lasting, and it is comfortable. People do not realize I am on a Bluetooth device when talking to them on the phone. I have absolutely no complaints about it, other than they are a little expensive, especially when you loose them. I believe you get what you pay for, and this device is comfortable to wear as well as providing excellent performance.
In the past mono Bluetooth devices would only work for phone calls, but this will work for music, audio books, movies, pod casts, etc.
Buy one, you will never regret it. Don't turn it off as it will make finding the misplaced item more difficult to find. Get the desk charger and the case that will charge the headset. Simply charge the case with the included or any micro-USB cable, and it will provide two full charges to the headset when you are away from a power source. I looked at a lot of options and this one fit my needs . . . switch between mobile handset and PC, comfort, great for voice dictation (I use Dragon). After much research., I settled on this headset. I needed one that would work well with both my iPhone4S and Dragon Dictate 3 for Mac. This was the best find and the customer service from Headsets Direct was what helped close the deal.Rating
