I bought a new headset because, with my previous headset (EarGlove Flex) people were telling me I was hard to hear or to understand.  I've not had such comments with my MX500C.  The sound quality both ways is good.  I find the earpiece a little uncomfortable.  Because it's rigid, it doesn't conform to individual physical configurations.  So, hard to say whether the discomfort is due to the design of the earpiece or to the shape of my ear. - Mike
