Wireless HeadsetsWireless telephone headsets have advanced with technology recently to provide many different models for numerous applications. For starters, if you need to be hands free and roam your office, wireless headsets will allow you to walk hundreds of feet away from your desk and alert you in the headset when your phone rings so you never miss a call. Next, with Bluetooth compatible cellular phones, wireless headsets allow you to talk without becoming entangled in cords. With the size shrinking and the battery life increasing, wireless headsets are now small and discrete and no longer require constant charging. Last, wireless headsets now allow you to multitask at home. For home office users, wireless telephone headsets and VoIP headsets let you get more done while you're talking and everything becomes within reach as your caller requires information from you.
Wireless headsets for the office:
Wireless telephone headsets or cordless telephone headsets for your office: With most multi-line phones, a wireless telephone headset will give you the freedom to roam your office and provide information to your caller as you continue talking. The amplifier (base unit and charger) provides compatibility settings, speaker and microphone volume controls allowing crystal clear communication for you and your caller. Wireless headsets come in single ear and dual ear headband models, as well as, over-the-ear models. With the wireless headset, you plug the amplifier into your phone's headset port or handset jack. When you initiate a call, you will remove your handset and set to the side of your phone. At that point you can begin talking or start dialing if you're making a call. When finished, you place the handset back on your phone to hang-up the call. When purchasing a wireless telephone headset or VoIP headset, there is one important accessory to consider; a handset lifter. The lifter allows most wireless headsets to answer and hang-up remotely providing even greater freedom. If you need to dial, transfer or any other phone function, you will need to walk back to your phone to accomplish. This is because it's impossible for one wireless headset to accommodate all the different number of lines and features available with thousands of multi-line phones on the market. The manufacturers of wireless headsets made them with few remote functions in order to be compatible with the greatest amount of phones. As technology has advanced, the headsets have become lighter and the batteries provide more talk time than ever.
Wireless headsets for your cellular phone:
Wireless headsets for your cellular phone: One of the latest advances in many cellular phones is a technology called Bluetooth. This technology allows two devices to communicate easily once paired. Wireless headsets that are Bluetooth compatible will connect to your cellular phone and allow you to speak hands-free so you can write, type or simply talk without straining your neck and shoulders. Pairing your phone and wireless headset only takes a few minutes and is only required once. Many different styles of wireless headset are available for in-the-ear and over-the-ear wearing. Wireless headsets continue to get smaller and lighter weight while the talk time increases. The in-the-ear wireless headsets will typically be smaller in size and rest inside your ear with a soft, pliable ear gel. Different sized ear gels are available for optimizing the perfect fit for your ear. The over-the-ear wireless headsets have a small ear hook that fits above and behind your ear and generally have the best battery life. Any wireless headset paired with your phone will provide hands free communication and safer driving conditions if used in your car.
Wireless headsets for your home:
Wireless telephone headsets and Plantronics VoIP headsets for your home: Once you use a wireless headset at your office, you realize how much you miss it when you get home and are forced to cradle the handset with your shoulder. High quality wireless headsets are now available for home and small office use which allow roaming and task completion while talking. The typical setup will include a base/charging unit, a remote and a wire that leads up to the headset. The remote unit will provide a dial pad, caller id and most other cordless phone functions. Very simple to install and use, this configuration is nothing more than a cordless telephone, with the luxury of hands free communication with the headset. By investing a few more dollars, models are available that cut the cord between the headset and remote, making it truly a wireless headset. Any wireless headset configuration for home will allow you to get more done while you're talking and also reduce neck and should strain from cradling a handset.
