The H81 speaker is designed to rest gently against the inside of the ear, close to the eardrum, increasing your ability to hear and understand each and every word of the conversation. Weighing in at less than 1/2 an ounce, the H81 is so comfortable you can put it on and forget it! However, although it is lightweight the H81 is built for commercial use, with durable junctions and rugged light weight cables. I had problems finding a replacement for an employee who did not like over the ear headsets. She wanted the kind that insert in the ear. I went on line and through online chat with a Headset Direct rep found the exact one I needed that would work with the amp she still had. The guy I online chatted with was so nice and helpful.
