CS70N Wireless Headset

As a headhunter I'm on the phone a lot and have used the CS70N almost every day for 5 years. When I purchased the CS70N I was looking for call quality and talk time - and this was top of the line for my needs then. I also purchased the phone receiver lifter - also fabulous.

I had no problems finding one of the differing sized ear piece to fit. I wore the first one out and chose another and - I guess I'm used to "the feel" now as I grabbed another from the originals sent and it's just fine ( I was very fussy when I first got it about fit). I find it to be VERY comfortable - I forget I have it on.

At 4 1/2" This has a slightly longer but very sleek, thin microphone piece.

It took a bit of trial and error and fine tuning to perfect listening settings at both ends but the quality in the end was worth it. Also helped me understand the fine tuning that is possible - that it's not a one size fit all
and you need to find your settings.

The ear piece did break after 4 years of heavy use - I super- glued it back together and it's gone for another year so far.

I work from a home office in a 1941 house with plaster & wire lath walls. During renovations this year I had to create an office in another less central part of my home and found the ear phone reception wasn't as good - only about 30 feet in the house - depending on direction. I couldn't get wireless internet across the same directional path either - they really used to make solid houses!

I've loved this head set for many years and when it dies, I'll get another Plantronics - but more choices now.

The only thing that would make this better, is more shapes and sizes of ear pieces. My ear is not big enough to hold on to the headset and the ear pieces are either to big or too little so it's always falling off my ear.
