The letter represents the Month (A=January, B=February…) and the number represents the Year (9=2009)

Q: How can I tell if my wireless unit is still under warranty?

A: On the bottom of the Base, you will find the date code. It will look something like this:

BL713984= B is for the Base, the 2nd Letter = the month the unit was manufactured; A=Jan, B=Feb, C=March, D=April, E=May, F=June, G=July, H=Aug, I=Sept, J=Oct, K=Nov, L=Dec. The first number in the group = the year the unit was manufactured, for example BL713984 = Dec of 2007.

Q:I bought a replacement headset, part 45647-03 in May of this year. Why does it only have a 60 day warranty?

A: The headset replacement is considered an accessory, it is not a commercial grade headset. (Only Commercial Grade Headsets carry the Plantronics 2yr Warranty) We offer our customers a 60 day money back guarantee if the item fails.
