If you're using a Plantronics CS-series or Savi series wireless headsets, by adding the Plantronics HL10 handset lifter or compatible Electronic Hook Switch Cable (EHS) will allow you to answer and hangup remotely. Your headset will beep in your ear, indicating that you have an incoming call and you simply press the call control button on your headset. Your phone will answer the ringing line and connect your call completely transparent to your caller. When you're finished with the call, you press the headset call control button again and your call is disconnected. If you need to dial, transfer or any other phone features, you will need to be at your phone but once finished, you're free to walk away from your desk again.
