The New Plantronics W700 Wireless Headsets for Multiple Platforms (W710, W720, W730 & W740)

The new W700 family of wireless headsets that Plantronics is releasing this summer is offering even more multi-connectivity than the older Savi family. The W700 family will be replacing the older Savi models. You now have one headset that can be used on your PC, Desk phone & Mobile phone. Listed below are some of the features Plantronics has added or improved upon.

• Replaceable Battery for W740: New P/N 84598-01
• W710 & W720 will use same battery as older models (WO300 & WO350).
• Three way connectivity lets you easily switch & mix audio between PC, mobile & desk phone calls.
• 3 additional headsets can be link to each unit.
• Subscribe new headsets to base by simply docking the headset.
• Dect 6.0: New voice-dedicated DECT technology eliminates Wi-Fi interference from other Networks.
• Adaptive power system optimizes for range and talk time.
• Advanced wideband audio using CAT-iq technology enables clearer conversations.
• Bluetooth technology is in the base of the W700 units, not in the headset.
• If you are using the W700 series headset with a mobile phone you can reach up to 350 feet away from the base.
• If you are more than 350 ft away on a mobile call using the W700 headset you will lose connection, even if you have your mobile phone with you (remember the Bluetooth technology is in the base, not the headset).
• Placing the headset in sleep mode can save on your battery life between charges.
