Plantronics Freehand H131N & H132N Corded Headset Date Codes

September 18th, 2009 Wayne Leave a comment Go to comments

The date code of the Freehand family of headsets will be located on the side of the headset microphone boom, near the speaker.  The first two numbers represent the month (01=January, 02=February…).  The two numbers following the dash represent the year (05=2005).  Next is the model of the headset.  An “H13″ represents the Freehand.  The Freehand H131N will have a quick disconnect connection at the end of the cable and the H132N will have a clear modular plug at the end of the cable.  Both models have the noise-canceling microphone.  If an “R” is present, the headset has been re-manufactured or replaced by Plantronics.  Any trailing characters are used by Plantronics for coding purposes.
